Line exercise 1

 For our first line design we had to create different lines that described an adjective. 

Line design 1: Angry 

For this line design I chose the word angry. I wanted to show this emotion by using dark color with bold lines. I then created harsh, ridged lines. I took a charcoal pencil and pressed it hard against the paper drawing in one direction. 

Line design 2: frantic 

For my second line design I choose the word frantic. I wanted to depict a line that was unpredictable, a line that would make the viewer feel confused. My inspiration was a lightning bolt, I drew a bold line that zigzagged in deferent directions.
